# Day 1, 13th of September 2006
<< >> Photos Day 1 The first day of our journey is the way to Japan. First of all our delegation meet at the Copenhagen Airport. Although Alex is delayed by one hour he’s still the first at the airport. After him Teresa arrives from Stuttgart. In pretty short moments everybody else is also arriving Copenhagen. As we’re all collected we realize that our connecting flight to Tokyo, Narita is almost delayed by one and a half hour. That’s enough time to discover the airport and to enjoy the children playground. Some of us get already tired…
nstead of leaving Copenhagen at 3:45 p.m. we finally take off at 5 p.m. Unfortunately our group is spread off in the airplane. Always two of us are sitting together. Only Teresa has a single place beside a Japanese.
The flight takes about 10 hours and that’s a pretty long time. We all try to sleep a bit, but because of the fact that we’re also excited to go to Japan it’s not so easy to take a nap.
The airhostesses keep us busy and between eating, drinking and sleeping we also need to fulfil the immigration papers.
Between Germany and Japan is a time difference of 7 hours. So it’s pretty hard to say, when the new day starts. We all think it must have been happen between two sandwiches…
