Another Highlight, or in other words a highlight as usual. Gunma Cooking School. After a little look-around and some introducing words the cooking session starts. At first a cook shows us what to do. Shawa-Mushi and Tempura. Then its our turn and let me say to those who never tried to pick out a shrimps gut: It's not that easy!
Beside the difficulties we had really loads of fun and ti tastes delicious.
Nevertheless we can understand the headline of a local newspaper: 'German students tried cooking japanese meals.'

As an add-on here are the recipies we cooked.
After our selfmade lunch we move to the education center of Ohta City. Here we get an introduction to two traditional aspects of japanese culture: Ikebana and tea ceremony.
During our funny flower sticking and tea drinking sessions our inner tension increases more and more. In the evening our homestay families will wait at the hotel and we are getting nervous.
On our way back to the hotel we leave some time at another temple. But finally it's up to us to pick up our bags and say Hello to our family.
