Unfortunately after one night our stay in Kusatsu is over. But there's no reason to cry, because the next highlights of our journey are already waiting. The next stop is the volcano Mt. Shirane. The weather is perfect and on the top at the crater sea it's windy. We can't believe that this sea has a pH value of 1.2.


After one hour we're going on to today's museum number one. This is the museum of local history of Tsumagoi. An eruption happened at this place 200 years ago and destroyed some villages. We visit the museum and have lunch.
At 1 p.m. we go to today's museum number two. This is the museum about the history of the area of Nakanojo-machi. The director gives us an interesting introduction. This lecture isn't a really short but it makes us often laughing. At the end we get a guided tour through this museum.

At the end of the day, we check inn into the Otha Grand Hotel. Tonight we just use the time to train our Sayonara program and to coordinate the presents. Finally it's also time to summarize the first week in Japan.
